We stock an extensive range of frames and lenses from budget to designer frames. One of our highly experienced dispensers will be able to offer advice on frame and lens selection. As an independent optician we are not affiliated with any one supplier so we can stock and source many different brands for you.

Some brands we currently have instore include Guess, Gant, Superdry, Jasper Conran, Jaeger, Swarovski and Diesel. We also have range of petite ladies’ frames and XL men’s frames for those of you with a larger temple width.

Spectacle Lenses

Having the right lens is just as important as choosing the right frame. All of our single vision, bifocal & varifocal lenses are precision made and of high quality.

Proud to be a Varilux specialist (the inventors of varifocals!), we can provide you with the latest lens technology. We also supply lenses from Zeiss, Kodak, Seiko and Nikon.

All of our lenses are available in a variety of options including scratch resistant, anti-reflective and photochromatic/Transitions.

Our team can advise you on the type of lens and coatings best suited to your lifestyle and needs.

Children’s Glasses

We stock a wide variety of Children’s frames including Marvel super heroes, Batman, Peppa Pig, Disney Princess, Laser Junior and a whole load more! We also stock a specialist range of kids’ frames recommended by the hospital eye department.
A child’s bridge and facial shape continually develops from birth, and very often there will be an element of facial asymmetry as little faces grow and develop.

There are some important considerations when selecting our children’s spectacles;

• Specialist frames anatomically designed to fit flatter bridge shapes, distribute the lens and frame weight over a larger surface area. This ensures that not only are the spectacles comfortable, but most importantly that the child actually looks through the spectacle lenses correctly.
• Non-metal parts and hinge free construction reduce the risk of facial and eye trauma, great for babies, toddlers and all sports activities. Materials are light, flexible and malleable to ensure an optimal fit.
• We all want our children to be happy, and part of successful spectacle wear, particularly for children is making sure they themselves are happy in their spectacles.

In our experience, if children don’t like the way their frames look or feel, they won’t wear them!

Safety Spectacles

Injuries can be extremely painful and can lead to time away from work, a loss in income and permanent damage to, or loss of your vision. To protect eyes and eyesight, safety glasses are essential for certain jobs where there is dust or flying debris. We can supply you with protective eyewear which complies with current EEC and BS EN standards. Our range of protective eyewear includes practical and stylish frames for men and women.

Sports Eyewear

Wearing glasses does not have to be a barrier to doing sport as an amateur or a professional.
We can supply a range of vision correction options to suit the sport you do including – but not limited to:
